Vision & Mission Statement

Vision

Psalm 68:6a says, “God sets the lonely in families.” The name Amaris is Hebrew for “God’s promise fulfilled” and our vision at Amaris Ministries is to see this promise of God fulfilled for children and families in Imperial County. By joining children from difficult circumstances with loving, Christian families, they are introduced to their Savior, Jesus Christ, and their futures are forever changed.

Mission Statement

Amaris Ministries is a non-profit, 501(c)(3) multi-faceted ministry to care for women, children and families in their time of need.

Our mission is to place infants and children regardless of ethnicity, age or special needs into Christian foster, adoptive, and to remove perceptual and practical barriers to adoption. We are committed to offering a safe, confidential, and pressure-free environment for women with unplanned pregnancies to receive counsel, support, referrals and resources to help them make the best decision, whether it is parenting or placing for adoption.

The Amaris Ministries office will serve as a resource center providing guidance, basic support, and information on adoption and foster care. Our goal is to have no waiting children in Imperial County. We realize this is a lofty goal, but God loves adoption and deeply cares for orphans, so we will rely on Him to accomplish this goal and provide loving families for His children.

To achieve this mission, Amaris Ministries is committed to:
